    Getting around Sri Lanka

    Airport transfers

    Book at least 24 hours ahead. Our driver meets you at arrivals with a name board — no queueing for a random taxi.

    The scenic train

    Ella–Kandy is one of the world's most beautiful rides. Grab 2nd/3rd class unreserved for the open doors, or book 1st class online 30 days ahead.

    Scooter rentals

    50cc–125cc from ~1,500 LKR/day. You legally need a Sri Lankan temporary permit — we help you sort it in 10 minutes at reception.

    Local buses & tuk-tuks

    Cheapest way to hop between beaches. Ask reception for the fair tuk-tuk price before you flag one down.

    Cash & cards

    Carry LKR for tuk-tuks, small cafés and buses. Cards work at most restaurants in Weligama, Ahangama and Galle.

    Group travel

    Vans fit 5–6 people plus luggage — often cheaper per head than two sedans. Ask us to arrange.
